The gas station dance is the three-shot clip Russian blogger Mikhail Litvin filmed with his friends Ravshan and Adel at a gas station on a 2024 road trip, usually reposted with Akcent's "On and On": one dances on the forecourt, one swings the phone round into a selfie, one climbs out of the car. Upload one photo per shot and get the same 15-second clip with your people in it, music included, from 23 credits (about $0.86). It is a template, so there is no prompt to write.
Cast my gas station dance15 s · 9:16 · 720p · with the trend's music
One sharp, front-facing photo per person; head-to-toe works best for the dancer and the car exit. One person can play two or all three shots.
The 15-second sunset template the AI trend uses: forecourt dance, walking selfie, car exit. Your video keeps its cuts, camera and music.
The original is an unplanned phone video by Mikhail Litvin, one of Russia's best-known bloggers, and his friends Ravshan and Adel. The story that travels with reposts: a 2024 road trip, a fuel stop at around 4 a.m., no choreography. Ravshan dances by the pumps, Litvin swings the camera round into a selfie, and Adel climbs out of the car as if arriving at a premiere. Most reposts set it to "On and On" by the Romanian group Akcent.
The version filling TikTok, Reels and Shorts in autumn 2026 is an AI recast of that clip, moved from night to golden hour. Nobody films it at a gas station: a template keeps the three shots, the cuts and the camera, and each shot's performer is replaced by a person from a photo. A text prompt alone can't reproduce the timing, which is why tools for this trend ask for photos. In India the same thing spread as the "petrol pump dance trend".

|---|---|
| Song in reposts | "On and On" by Akcent (several edits circulate) |

The template has exactly one person on screen per shot, so you are casting three parts, not filming a group dance. The car exit is the reveal everyone waits for: give it to the person the video is about.

| Who is in it | Shot 1 · dancer | Shot 2 · selfie | Shot 3 · car exit | Why it works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Three friends | The one who always dances first | The one who films everything | The one who is always late | Closest to the original trio; post it in the group chat first. |
| Two people (a couple, best friends) | Person A | Person B | Person A again | Whoever opens the clip also closes it. Or give person B both later shots. |
| Just you | You | You | You | Upload the same photo three times; a photo in a second outfit for shot 3 adds variety. |
| A team and its manager | A colleague | Another colleague | The manager | A "the boss arrives" reveal reads instantly on a company or shop account. |
| Wedding or birthday | Best friend or bridesmaid | Best man or sibling | The bride, the groom or the birthday person | Save the guest of honour for the door opening. |
| Sports team or club | A player | The captain | The coach or the new signing | Photos in team kit keep it on brand without adding logos to the scene. |
| Restaurant, gym or shop staff | The friendliest face at the counter | Someone in uniform | The owner or the chef | Get each person's OK before uploading; see the posting checklist below. |
Only have one group photo? Crop each person into their own picture, keeping the face and as much of the body as you can, and use one crop per slot. Two people dancing side by side in shot 1 isn't possible: the template shows one person per shot.
Different casts on the same three shots, taken from other generators' pages. None of them was made on this site; the source is linked under each video.
Team jerseys: 07, 10 and 11
A sports-team cast: two players dance and film, and the third steps out in the yellow 11.
Leather jackets and a helmet
One look shared by three different people, an easy way to make a crew version feel planned.
Three tracksuits
Matching outfits, different faces: the dancer, the selfie and a car exit in velour.
White tees and a red sports car
The same simple outfit for all three, with the car swapped for a red coupé.
Deep sunset, white-tee finale
A later, warmer sunset with a close-up before the car exit; this one runs 17 seconds.

Photo 1 dances, photo 2 films the selfie, photo 3 climbs out of the car. Fewer than three people? Reuse a photo in another slot.
9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or 16:9 for YouTube and screens. Seedance 2.0 Fast at 720p is the default, and the price updates as you choose.
Most videos are ready in a few minutes. Download the MP4 with the trend's music, or reopen it later from your video history.
A personal post and a business post carry different risks. Go through these before the video goes on a company page or into an ad.
Only upload photos of people who agreed to be in the video, staff and customers included. Ask again before it runs as an ad, and leave celebrities and public figures out of it.
The finished video carries the trend's music track. That is how the trend is shared on personal accounts; ads, sponsored posts and many business accounts need music cleared for commercial use, such as a platform's commercial sound library, or a muted copy with licensed audio.
TikTok, Instagram and YouTube ask creators to mark realistic AI-generated video. Switch on the AI label when you post; it also stops people mistaking it for the original clip.
9:16 fills TikTok, Reels and Shorts. 16:9 suits YouTube, a website header or a screen in the shop. Make one video per frame instead of cropping.
Collect photos with names and permission, test one cast at 480p, then make the final versions at 720p or 1080p. Each video is charged once, and failed ones are refunded automatically.
Searches for "dance at the gas station" also turn up a news story: in summer 2026 a Sunoco station in Halfmoon, New York, gave customers a discount for dancing at the pump to Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody", and CNN, Fox News and ABC News picked it up.
That was a live in-store promotion with real customers. The gas station dance on this page is the AI recast of Litvin's three-shot road-trip clip. If you run a station, café or shop, the two ideas work together: a real dance-for-a-deal moment at the counter, and an AI version starring your team for the feed.
The same idea in other scenes: each is a fixed template where your photos replace the people, with its own music.
At the default setting (Seedance 2.0 Fast, 720p) one video is 104 credits, so 20 videos are 2080 credits; on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p, 20 videos are 460 credits. Each one takes a few minutes, and you can start the next while one renders. Leave time to collect photos and permission, and clear the music before any of them runs as a paid ad.
Take three phone photos at work, one person each, standing and facing the camera in uniform. Put the friendliest face in shot 1, someone in uniform in shot 2 and the owner or chef in the car exit. Generate at 720p in 9:16, switch on the AI label and post. Everyone in it should agree first.
Crop the group photo into three pictures, one person each, and put one crop in each slot. The template has one person per shot, so two people can't dance side by side in shot 1. Give the two dancers shots 1 and 2, and the third friend the car exit.
Here every video is paid in credits, at a fixed price per model and resolution. Monthly plans have the lowest price per credit ($0.037 on the cheapest one); one-time packs cost a little more per credit but never renew. The $5 one-time pack (24 credits) covers one video on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p.
Free routes are usually app templates or prompt-based tools: they may need an app, add their own watermark, or make a generic dancer instead of the three-shot clip. A template generator re-renders each person, outfit included, into the original cuts and camera. Here you see the price of every setting before generating, free accounts get a moving watermark, and any purchase unlocks the clean originals.
On this site: Hotel Lobby and APT turn two photos into a duet, Raindance puts two people in the pier song, Wipe Me Down hands a dance from one friend to another, and Aura Farming walks you into a K-drama classroom. Each is a fixed template like this one, with its own music.
Yes. The generator runs in any browser, Chromebook included, and accepts photos whose shorter edge is at least 300 px. The result follows the photo: use your sharpest, best-lit selfie, face the camera, skip sunglasses and heavy filters, and choose 720p rather than 1080p if the photo is small.
Three photos, one per shot. The price is shown before you generate.
