Singing Dog AI for Cats: Make Your Cat Sing From One Photo

Hotel Lobby AI's singing dog AI is a pet singing video maker that works on cats: one photo of your cat becomes a 5, 10 or 15-second MP4 (480p–1080p) of it singing opera in the shower, on a stage or Happy Birthday with a name, from 7 credits ($0.26). New accounts get 10 free credits. Videos carry a moving watermark until your first purchase.

Does singing dog AI work on cats?

Yes. Singing dog AI is the name people search for, but the tool animates any pet with a clear face: a cat's own muzzle opens on each sung syllable, its head sways with the melody and the voice and music are in the file. You upload one cat photo, pick a scene and either type the words, type a name for Happy Birthday or upload a short song.

The same tool is also called AI singing dog, dog singing AI, singing pet AI or an AI singing animal video. What changes for cats is the photo: whiskers, small mouths, flat faces and black fur need a little more care, which the photo table below covers.

How do I make my cat sing with AI?

Upload one clear photo of your cat, pick where it sings, choose what it sings and press the button. The tool turns that into a prompt you can read and edit, sends it to the video model and returns an MP4 with the singing already in it, usually within a few minutes.

  1. 1. Upload your cat's photo

Use a sharp, front-facing photo with the eyes open and the mouth and nose free. Add a second photo of another cat or a dog if you want a duet.

  2. 2. Pick a scene

Shower opera with a towel and hair dryer, a theatre stage, a recording studio, or a Happy Birthday party with a cake.

  3. 3. Choose what it sings

Type up to 160 characters of words, type a name for Happy Birthday, or upload your own MP3 or WAV of 2–15 seconds.

  4. 4. Make it and download

The default is Seedance 2.0 Mini, 10 seconds, 480p, 9:16 for 13 credits. Change the model, length, frame or resolution, then download the MP4.

Which cat photo works best for AI singing?

A front-facing, sharp photo with the eyes open and the mouth closed works best, because the model has to invent the open mouth and needs to see the real nose, chin and whiskers to keep your cat looking like your cat. The table shows what each kind of cat photo tends to give and what to do about it.

Cat photos and what they give

AI cat singing in the shower, Happy Birthday or a song you pick

Most people who search for a singing cat want one of three things: the shower opera clip, a birthday message or their cat singing a particular song. Each has a setting in the tool; the words below can be pasted as they are.

AI cat singing in the shower

The shower opera scene is the October 2026 version of the trend: your cat stands in the bath in a white towel, fur damp, singing opera into a hair dryer while it blows its fur. It is the default scene and works especially well with orange and fluffy cats.

AI cat singing Happy Birthday

Pick the Happy Birthday scene and type a name: your cat sits behind a cake with lit candles in a paper party hat and sings Happy Birthday with that name. Ten seconds fits the whole verse at a relaxed pace; five seconds fits about half.

Settings

AI cat singing APT., Billie Eilish or a Chinese song

To make your cat sing a specific song, choose Upload my song and add an MP3 or WAV of 2–15 seconds, ideally the chorus with clear vocals. The mouth follows the vocals and the music stays as it is. This is how people make a cat sing APT., a Billie Eilish line, Waiting for Love or the Chinese rap from the 2024 dog meme.

Uploading a commercial song is your responsibility: you need the right to use it, and platforms may mute or claim it. Happy Birthday to You is in the public domain in the US.

Can an AI cat sing and dance, or become a GIF?

A little. The scenes frame the head and upper body, so the cat sways, bobs its head and raises a paw with the beat, but it does not do full-body choreography. The tool exports an MP4 with sound, not a GIF; you can convert the MP4, but a GIF drops the singing.

Singing and dancing

For more movement, edit the prompt and add a line like the one below. Keep it short: asking for a full dance routine with the whole body in frame usually costs mouth detail, and the lip-sync gets worse.

It sways from side to side with the beat and taps one front paw on every second bar.

AI cat singing GIF

For a sticker or a GIF reply, make a 5-second video and convert it with any MP4-to-GIF tool or your phone's shortcut. Expect a silent loop, a larger file than the MP4 and some colour banding. For a chat message, sending the MP4 keeps the song.

How much does an AI cat singing video cost, and is it free?

The default video (Seedance 2.0 Mini, 10 seconds, 480p) costs 13 credits, about $0.48. Across every model, length and resolution the price runs from 7 to 540 credits, and the scene, the song, the frame and a second photo do not change it. Can my cat and my dog sing together?

Yes. Add a second photo and the two sing a duet side by side: photo 1 on the left sings the first line while the other listens, photo 2 on the right answers with the next line, and they sing the last line together. Each keeps its own species, colours and markings; a cat and a dog, or two cats, both work.

  • Use two separate photos, one pet each; a single photo with both pets is treated as one singer.
  • Two cats with the same colouring can blend; pick photos with clearly different markings or backgrounds.
  • Use Swap to change who sings first.
  • With your own song, the two take turns on its vocals; a song with two voices or a call-and-response works best.

Singing dog AI here vs Singing Pet, Freebeat and TuneArt

Singing Pet, Freebeat and TuneArt are the singing pet tools ChatGPT recommends most often. All three take a pet photo and a song; they differ in what is free, how sound gets in and what they publish about watermarks. The table only lists what each tool states on its own pages; anything else is marked as not published.

What singing dog AI can't do with cats

It cannot clone your cat's real voice, and it will not always keep a flat face, black fur or fine whiskers perfect. It sings up to 15 seconds, one or two pets at a time, from still photos only. These are the cases where results tend to disappoint, so you can decide before spending credits.

  • It is not your cat's own voice: the model writes a singing voice, or sings the vocals of the song you upload.
  • Flat-faced breeds and black cats lose mouth detail more often; the jaw can look stiff or the muzzle a little too long.
  • Whiskers and fine fur blur at 480p; 720p or 1080p helps.
  • Typed words are sung in order but not always word-perfect, and fast rap from an uploaded song can drift by a syllable.
  • Props move: the hair dryer, towel or party hat can shift between frames, and paws holding things can look odd.
  • No more than two pets, no group photo with three or more, no video upload and nothing longer than 15 seconds.
  • It does not add a trending platform sound by itself; upload the clip or add the sound in the app when you post.

What is the singing dog and cat trend?

AI videos of pets singing come in waves. Each wave uses the same idea, a still pet photo that lip-syncs to a song, with a new song or scene that everyone copies. Cats have been part of every wave.

  1. 2022, photo apps. Photo-animation apps such as Revive made pet photos lip-sync to pop songs; Know Your Meme filed the clips as Revive App Singing Animals.
  2. November 2024, the Chinese rap dog. On 3 November 2024 the TikTok account @abbieququ posted Angela, a toy poodle in a car, lip-syncing SKAI ISYOURGOD's song Yin Guo (因果), including the line about mountains of gold and silver. It passed 5.9 million views and cat versions followed. The original post
  3. October 2026, the shower opera. From mid-October 2026, clips of dogs and cats standing in a bathtub, wrapped in a towel and singing opera into a hair dryer spread under tags like #singingdogtrend, #dogblowdry and #petsingingtrend. No single original post has been confirmed.

Searches show where cats fit in: ai cat singing in the shower, ai cat singing Happy Birthday, and cats singing APT., Billie Eilish or the Chinese song from the dog meme. The four scenes and the own-song option above cover each of these.

Singing cat AI questions

Will my cat still look like my cat?

Usually, yes. The prompt tells the model to keep the species, breed, fur colour and markings, eye colour, ears and collar exactly as in your photo and to keep the cat's own muzzle and teeth. A sharp front-facing photo gives the closest match; flat faces, black fur and side profiles drift more often.

Does it work with a black cat or a Persian?

It works, but these are the hardest cats. Dark fur hides the mouth and teeth, and flat faces give the model little jaw to move, so the muzzle can come out longer. Use a bright daylight close-up, choose 720p and, if the first try looks off, try Seedance 2.0 Pro or Seedance 2.5.

Can a kitten, a hairless cat or a one-eyed cat sing?

Yes. The model keeps what it sees in the photo, so a Sphynx stays hairless and a cat with one eye keeps it closed. Kittens can look slightly older in the video. Keep the whole head and ears in the frame.

Is that my cat's real voice?

No. With AI sings my words, the model writes a singing voice to match the scene, from opera to pop. To use a real recording, such as your family singing or your cat's own meows edited into a tune, choose Upload my song and add the MP3 or WAV.

Can I make my cat talk instead of sing?

This page is made for singing: typed words always come out sung, with music. For a talking cat, the closest option is Upload my song with a voice recording of the lines. The mouth follows the recording and no other music is added; edit the prompt so it says speaking instead of singing.

Do I have to say it is AI when I post my singing cat?

TikTok asks creators to label realistic AI-generated content, and Instagram and YouTube have similar AI labels. A singing cat is obviously edited to most viewers, but adding the platform's AI label or #aigenerated is the safe choice, especially for a brand or shop account.

Is my cat photo kept private?

Your photos and song are stored in a private bucket and used only to make your video; they are not shown on the site, in examples or to other users. Only you can open the finished video from My videos.
