AI Bob Haircut Photo Guide: Common Issues
Pick a portrait for an AI bob haircut video. Learn about framing, face consistency, hand artifacts, upload limits and what to do when a generation fails.
The best starting point for an AI bob haircut video is a well-lit, front-facing portrait of one person with the whole head and shoulders visible. The model needs both a clear identity reference and space to show the hair transformation.
Keep the face and hairline visible
Use even light and a sharp original photo. A hat hides the hairline; dark shadows hide facial details; heavy beauty filters change the identity reference. A group photo can make it unclear which person should receive the bob. A crop that cuts off the top of the head gives the model less information about the hair shape.
You do not need to hold scissors in your source photo. The tool generates that pose in the opening image. Leave space below the chin and around the shoulders, rather than cropping down to the face alone.
Make the before-and-after difference clear
Loose hair below the shoulders gives a clear contrast with a chin-length bob. A ponytail, bun or already-short haircut may make the reveal less obvious. The generated opening can interpret the hair differently from the upload; it is not an exact frame-for-frame copy.
Why might the face or hands change?
The workflow uses the original photo and first frame as references for the ending image. This encourages continuity but does not guarantee it. Changes in pose, an obscured face, complex backgrounds and the generated scissors action can introduce artifacts. Inspect the result before sharing. A model switch after a failed image is included in the price; subjective dissatisfaction with a completed video is different from a failed technical task.
When the file will not upload
Use JPG, PNG or WebP, no larger than 10 MB. Both sides must be at least 300 pixels. Convert HEIC to one of the supported formats first. If the browser cannot decode the image, exporting it again as JPEG can help. Very narrow panoramas are not accepted.
When a generation does not finish
Read the stage shown on the page. An image failure may use the backup image model; an unclear submission is checked before another request is sent. You can return to My videos. A task that ultimately fails returns its generation credits. A content rejection requires a different acceptable photo, not repeated submissions.
